Current Funding Opportunities
Save the Date: Healthcare Georgia Foundation will announce the Notification of Funding Availability (NOFA) for the 2022 EmpowerHealth Capacity Building Grant Program on February 9, 2022. In accordance with the Foundation’s strategic plan, the EmpowerHealth program focuses on Strengthening Health Nonprofits, Programs, and Workforce.
The Foundation partners with TCC Group, a national social impact firm, to implement EmpowerHealth. TCC Group’s evidence-based organizational assessment instrument, the Core Capacity Assessment Tool (CCAT), will be used to help nonprofits to identify organizational areas that most need strengthening.
The application process for EmpowerHealth is two phases beginning with the submission of a Letter of Intent (LOI). Eligible organizations that submit LOIs will have the opportunity to participate in the following activities:
- View a Core Capacity Assessment Toolkit (CCAT) orientation webinar conducted by the Foundation and TCC Group.
- Complete the online CCAT to identity organizational areas that need strengthening.
- Obtain coaching assistance from TCC Group to interpret the CCAT
Eligible applicants that submit a Letter of Intent and complete the CCAT will be invited to submit a full proposal for funding to the Foundation based on the needs identified from the CCAT.
More details about the NOFA, including timelines, application materials and requirements, will be available on the Foundation’s website on February 9, 2022.
