Session Description:
It's not enough to simply have health careers students come to your community for a clerkship - how can you show them that your community is a great place to live? Do you need ideas for recruitment and retention of health careers students? Find out what students want from a community and how you can integrate them into your area during their clerkship.

Session Objectives:
After this session, participants will:

  1. Understand health professions students' perspectives and values during clerkships
  2. Discover ways to mobilize your community's grass-roots efforts to help integrate students into your community
  3. Organize student groups to share community culture and activities
