Session Description:
This presentation is designed for healthcare professionals that would like to know more about the anatomy of the anorectum and the mechanism of continence, the mechanism of defecation and constipation in women.

Session Objectives:

At the end of this presentation, participants will be able to:

  1. Review the Anatomy of Anorectum
  2. Understand Mechanism of Continence
  3. Fecal Incontinence:
  • Know Pertinent radio graphic and non-radiographic testing
  • Understand Mechanism of Defecation
  1. Constipation:
  • Know Pertinent radiographic and non-radiographic testing
