Session Description:
Dr. Mohak Davé, a Board Certified ER physician, leads this program for healthcare professionals involved with the development and implementation of Hypothermia Protocol for Cardiac Arrest Patients. The program will feature an overview of hypothermia, the physiology of hypothermia therapy, and how cardiac arrest patients can benefit from this unique treatment modality. Included in this session are quality improvement measures, best-practice standards, and increased staff education.

Session Objectives:

  1. Provide Background on hypothermia therapy in past
  2. Understand physiology of induced hypothermia
  3. Analyze current studies and literature supporting hypothermia treatment
  4. Discuss indications for hypothermia induction
  5. Discuss logistics of how to provide therapy

Technology Requirements:
Participants registering for programs should have access to the following technology for best viewing and participation:
