General Operating Grant Program
The General Operating Grant Program is intended to strengthen and sustain health nonprofits’ capacity to fulfill their missions. The Foundation’s General Operating Grant Program fits within the Foundation’s grantmaking priority area of Strengthening and Sustaining Health Nonprofit Organizations, Programs, and Workforce. The focus of this priority area is to address the critical organizational capacity needs that affect access, cost, and quality of health and healthcare services.

Organizations that have active grants with the Foundation are not eligible to apply for a General Operating Support Grant during their active grant period. General Operating Support Grants will not be available to directly support the operating expenses of universities, governmental entities, and for-profit organizations.
