Jim Lyons - Senior Partner, Pride Philanthropy

Jim Lyons is the principal and senior partner of Pride Philanthropy, a Georgia-based fundraising consultancy, and has 35 years of experience in the field. He has taught seminars for over 400 institutions and their staff and boards. Jim has worked on an extended basis with over one hundred non-profit clients. During that time his clients have achieved over $325 million in fundraising goals. Jim has spoken at numerous professional meetings with an emphasis on board recruitment, motivation and strategic planning. He also brings to his clients many years of financial and organizational management experience. He is a member of the Association of Health Care Philanthropy and the Association of Fundraising Professionals. Jim is a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado.

Patti Lyons - Senior Partner, Pride Philanthropy

Patti was Foundation Director for the Whitfield Healthcare Foundation at Hamilton Medical Center in Dalton, Georgia, for five years. She has been consulting for the last 25 years in fundraising for non-profit institutions. Her emphasis is on major gifts and prospect assessment and strategies for development staff and volunteers. Patti has been a motivational speaker for numerous non-profit boards. Her organizational skills have brought a high level of success to her many clients through the years. Patti is a long time member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals (AFP) and is a graduate of the University of Georgia.
