Three River AHEC Health Careers Awareness programs are developed and implemented to educate middle and high school students about various health career choices, as well as a educational pipeline that will ultimately promote workforce in Georgia.
We offer at no cost virtual classroom presentations aimed at exposing students to the fastest growing health careers today as well as the universities and technical colleges where these careers can be studied. A Virtual Library is provided to allow teachers and students unlimited access to presentations via web. At your request, questions and answers can be included at the end of each presentation.

Allied Health Careers make of the majority of the healthcare workforce. There are numerous mid-level specialty opportunities to consider in allied health. This group of healthcare professionals are trained to perform procedures, evaluate patients, diagnose conditions, and develop treatment plans. If you have a passion for helping others and would enjoy working with people of diverse backgrounds, then this profession could be for you.
