Session Description:

Pediatric Cardiologist, Dr. Jeffery Donner, will discuss various cardiovascular diseases in children including recognition of signs and symptoms as well as interventional approaches and recommendations for referrals.



Session Objectives:
Session participants will:
  1. Understand basic cardiovascular disease in children and apply current recommendations for care.
  2. Understand current research and recommendations for referral to pediatric cardiologist.
  3. Discuss outcomes research and evidence based practice in CHD.
  4. Review techniques to ensure patient safety.

Technology Requirements:
Participants registering for programs should have access to the following technology for best viewing and participation:

  • Broadband internet connection such as an office LAN, DSL, or cable modem
