Session Description:
Pediatric Cardiologist, Dr. Jeffery Donner, will discuss various cardiovascular diseases in children including recognition of signs and symptoms as well as interventional approaches and recommendations for referrals.
Session Objectives:
Session participants will:
- Understand basic cardiovascular disease in children and apply current recommendations for care.
- Understand current research and recommendations for referral to pediatric cardiologist.
- Discuss outcomes research and evidence based practice in CHD.
- Review techniques to ensure patient safety.
