Closing Grants
Once the grantee submits a final report, Foundation program staff review the report and final budget to ensure that all grant objectives have been completed. The program staff completes a final report that is presented to the Board of Directors.

Promoting Your Grant

Sharing information about your Healthcare Georgia Foundation grant with key audiences and the media can help maximize the impact of your organization’s mission and work. Please note: No public release may be made about your grant until the Foundation’s Communications Manager has reviewed the release.

The following guidelines are designed to support effective communications that you may engage in after your signed grant agreement is signed and returned to the Foundation Grants Manager to generate interest in your work.

Once your grant agreement is finalized, let people know about the new grant through communication such as a news release to your local and regional media, an email to your key stakeholders, or social media outreach.

The Foundation requires that any content referencing your Foundation grant be reviewed by the Communications Manager prior to release or sharing. Please send any content review in total or in part to Rachael Dempsey, rdempsey@healthcaregeorgia.org.  We will fact check to ensure that information related to your grant is represented accurately and is consistent with the Foundation’s brand. We promise a prompt review and turnaround of your request.

Referencing the Foundation in Text

Please follow the guidelines below when referencing the Foundation in text:

  • Please refer to us as “Healthcare Georgia Foundation” with no “the” even if the name begins a sentence of stands alone. Do not use an acronym in a second reference instead, refer to us as “the Foundation.”
  • An official standard description paragraph for the Foundation is included below:

Foundation Logo Use

Healthcare Georgia Foundation is pleased to provide electronic versions of its logo for use by grantee and partner organizations in print and online materials upon request. All public use of the Foundation’s logo must be approved by the Foundation’s Communications Manager.  The entire logo, not just a section, must be used.

 

Social Media Sharing

Healthcare Georgia Foundation is actively engaged in using social media. We follow our grantee organizations that are active on social media to promote your work and partnership with the Foundation. If your organization has a presence on social media, like us on Facebook or follow us on Twitter.
