Healthcare Georgia Foundation Announces Second Quarter 2020 Grant Recipients

The Grants Provide Funding to The Two Georgias Initiative Coalitions and a Strategic Health Impact Investment Program

 

Atlanta, GA – July 21, 2020 –Healthcare Georgia Foundation has announced twelve new grant awards totaling $1,145,000 in support of The Two Georgias Initiative and a strategic health impact investment partnership. As a multi-year investment in Georgia’s rural communities, The Two Georgias Initiative is designed to foster healthcare innovation by supporting local coalitions seeking to address health disparities, improve health, and expand access to quality healthcare services.

 

“All eleven of The Two Georgias Initiative coalitions have been steadfast in their work to improve the health outcomes of their rural communities,” said Foundation President, Dr. Gary Nelson. “We are honored to have the opportunity to invest in these coalitions as they move forward and continue to move the needle towards equitable healthcare access.”

  • Elbert Memorial Hospital Foundation
  • Horizons Community Solutions
  • Memorial Hospital and Manor Foundation

  • Northwest Georgia Regional Cancer Coalition
  • Spring Creek Health Cooperative
  • Tanner Medical Center
  • Stepping Stones Partner, LLC (Strategic Health Impact Investment)
